The Research Assistant provides research, editing and general administrative support to one or more Brookings senior fellow(s) in the areas of Chinese elite politics, decision-making, political transformation, foreign policy, energy, security policy and military affairs. Additional Qualifications:
Education/Experience Requirements: B.A required, M.A. preferred, in political science, international relations, or related social science. Minimum 1 year relevant work experience with U.S. work authorization required.


Knowledge Requirements: Must read, write and speak standard Mandarin Chinese at an advanced level. Excellent organizational skills; strong internet research skills; ability to work independently and prioritize accordingly. Editing experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be flexible, diplomatic, trustworthy, and good team-player, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
