Supply Chain Services Intern Fall 2008

Roles and Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Services Unit of the Office of Business Operations is seeking an intern to provide financial, project management and administrative support to ongoing projects with the Millennium Challenge Corporation and other supply chain projects. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Work with Project Managers and the Office of Finance to assist in preparing financial reports required by management;
Assist Project Managers on day-to-day Project Management tasks and liaise with field offices
Attend project-related meetings and briefings;
Conduct research on procurement-related issues
Aid the department in special projects
Provide minimal administrative support (less than 30%) to the department
Other activities as assigned by the department

Qualifications
Excellent research, writing and organizational skills
Interest and academic studies and/or previous work experience focused on international development and/or business administration
Familiar with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Organized, motivated and responsible individual

Fall internships begin on/about September 2nd, 2008 and end on/about December 19th, 2008. If seeking an unpaid internship, you must be able to obtain course credit from a 2 or 4 year accredited college or university.
